New laws on talking photos

Saw a report on the bbc london news about a new law to do with talking pics/film.
didnt catch all the report,does this law cover anybody who takes pics in and around london?
so if i fancied talking some pics of say st pauls would i get nicked?

Its a section of the latest crime act (yes yet another one) that forbids the taking of photographs of members of the police, security services or armed forces that could be of use to those preparing an act of terrorism. I suppose the intention is to prevent spooks being id'd, but naturally every Community Copper or whatever they are called will just use it to stop you taking a picture of their illegally parked vehical outside the sandwich shop, which happened in Uxbridge last year.

Unfortunately it will not apply to police propaganda, so there will be no end to those clip a camera to some high-vis jacket wearing defender of public safety as he/she chases after some chavs/drunks/ne'erdowells and call it a tv programme. It will only cover those trying to show up police incompetance, misbehaviour etc.

So we went see the local racist cop picking ona black guy who happens to be in the wrong place at wrong time then?
