One of Britain's most notorious criminals, Ronnie Biggs, could be free from jail within just a few months, according to reports.

ITV News said it understands the Great Train Robber will be freed when his case comes before the parole board on July 3.

Biggs was returned to prison on Monday after being treated in hospital for pneumonia, sources said.

The 79-year-old was moved from Norwich Prison to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital in Norwich on Friday.
Just how much national insurance has he paid over the years? Maybe there's no shortage of NHS beds in Norwich.

The rule with NHS and claiming benefits is the amount you get out is inversely proportional to what you put in. That's why tax is so high, to support those who've never paid any - and have no intention of ever doing so.

The best theing that could happen is Biggs snuffs it before July 3rd - wouldn't want to see him being hailed a hero.

They should stick him on the next plane to Rio.

Let's see what medical care the Brazilian Health Service are willing to give him.

Whatever ever happens to him, it will be us tax payers that kop for the bill.
Send him back to Rio - we'll pay.
Leave him in prison - we'll pay.
Release him - we'll pay his benefits.

Should have just got the SAS to do a number on him years ago, and saved the country a shite load of money.

They should not have accepted him back in 2001 - leaving him to die in Brazil would have equated to a prison sentence here and have worked out cheaper. Seeing he's here now it doesn't matter really if he's let out or not, either way he'll be receiving full time medical care.
