Hardly suprising given
a) the general race to criminalize everything and everybody
b) the fact that to be a copper you now basically have to be of the mindset not to challenge anything you are told to, i.e thick
We have now reached the point like in A Clockwork Orange the ''droogs' have become the 'dibble'
Having said that, anyone could be branded a criminal these days quite easily

Radio 4 this morning made a reference which suggested these 'criminal records' may also include driving convictions. ie speeding.

We are talking about "The 1,063 officers were convicted for a range of offences including 59 for assault, three for burglary and 93 for dishonesty, according to statistics from 41 of 52 forces."
