I see his ex colleague, James Whale, also sacked by TalkSport, is presenting the drive home show on LBC. Trouble with Whale is he only has about a dozen shows - and he just does them over and over, ad infinitum. Must be great presenting the same show for about 30 years, where the only variables are the weather, news and traffic.
Talking of LBC ? they employ a right bunch of presenters. Nick Ferrari is a walking/talking DJ Nicey, with the really deep, sincere voice, mates. He?s difficult to take seriously. Surely there?s a spot for Gaunty at LBC, to replace them whining/moaning women ? because as everybody knows, women can?t handle a phone-in, because it degenerates into nothing but a women?s problem page --- depression, anorexia, breast cancer, bullying at school, and other boring topics.

Midland radio legend Les Ross also needs work.
Amazingly he and Gaunty may end up at BBC Radio Coventry and Warwickshire- Gaunty had a show there before Radio London picked him up- and did a Saturday show until he left the BBC altogether.
Ross used to appear on there occasionally- its now the home of Wincey Willis, Trish Adudu and Liz Kershaw.
