Maybe it's because Jimmy Mizzen wasn't a scum bag - according to he tried to avoid the fight, so I'd have no reason to want him to die.

But on the other hand, the low-life piece of shit, Tyler Chav, got his just deserts --- although the perpetrator is maybe of the same character. One down is better than none.

Problem with the UK though is that the system and the do-gooders are more concerned with the "rights" of offenders than those of decent law-abiding folk.

That's one reason why the place is so fucked up, and as long as that balance isn't redressed, it's going to stay fucked up.

It's all very well judges and lawmakers in wood-panelled chambers and big comfy chairs indulging in lengthy debates and deliberations about legal niceties such as what constitutes "reasonable force".

Trouble is, back in the real world, if you're faced with an intruder on a darkened landing in the wee small hours, you don't have that luxury. You have no idea what the guy's intentions are. What you do have is probably a split second to make a him-or-me decision.
