You lose half of anything over and above ?150K
first 2.5K is 10%
2.5 to 35K is 22%
35K to 150K is 40%
150k+ is 50%
(all figures approx, off top of my head, based on figures before todays budget)

That 50% tax hike thing is a sham - it's there (like most of this governments policies) to fool the sheeple, the brainwashed masses who haven't the foggiest how "the rich" (the bastards!) get "paid", probably thinking in all their dim thoughts that the wealthy all get paid via PTTNAYE "like wot we do" with not a thought paid to any of the ways and means people (INCLUDING POLITICIANS) get paid for directorships, limited companies etc etc.
