Clifford is a scumbag of the highest order, no doubt about it. Making a living off other people's misfortune and misery (the recent Jade Goody cancer circus being a prime example).

But the media have to take some of the blame as well for waving their chequebooks about in the first place, thus creating the conditions for parasites like Clifford to thrive.

I wonder what it'll be next? Enterprising chavs jetting off to Cancun to catch the flu so that they can then "sell their story" back home?

Or maybe even heading off to the darkest reaches of Amazonia for a dose of dengue fever in order to do the same?

I've just read that. Clifford tries to defend it and is probably genuinely baffled as to why people see it as wrong to commercialise contracting an illness, an illness others have died from. He doesn't get it. Proves he is a total scumbag!
