This is why it has been an act of contempt of court [or 'legal reasons'] not to be able to name the mother and stepfather of Baby P up until today...

Twenty-five to life, anyone??

PS To anyone who tried to name Baby P's family on Facebook- you nearly got the charges against this pair dropped.

People like this shouldn't be allowed to breath, put them down and out of sight and sound of people, they are evil beyond belief.

I've just done an internet search and it took all of 2 minutes to get their names and pictures - these people need naming and their pictures posted everywhere.

At least now we can rest in peace knowing that we have assurances from the Great and the Good that 'this will never be allowed to happen again' 'we will do our utmost to ensure that this never happens again' 'we will monitor our procedures and systems to ensure that this kind of thing will never happen again, 'we will take on board and address any failures we may have made and ensure that we do not repeat the same mistakes again' blah fucking blah de dah. Until someone is made to take responsibility for even the simplest task, these things will happen again and again, until someone points the finger at someone and says 'that's your job, make sure it gets done' we will have cases like this again. These cases happen, not because of 'systemic failure' (their new buzzword to ensure that no blame clings to them), but because of the failure of individuals to do whatever they were supposed to do, and the failure of those individuals to make the correct decisions.
