Maybe he was mocking the Nazis - they had German accents. The Germans can't pretend it wasn't them who perpetrated all those atrocities, but they like to think of the post war Germany as a different nation that it previously was ---- in some ways it is, but they've only modified their behaviour because they had no other option, although it turned out well for them economically.

As British we get too worried about who we upset, without PC mindset - we're always wringing our hands and trying to appease minorities for the sins of generations past ---- the Germans don't go in for all this crap, they're still the same hard hearted people they ever were, only they've got the EU to conquer Europe in their name ---- and the best economy in Europe.

Perhaps we should be more like the Germans?
