That podgy Glaswegian guy, who 'graced' the Speakers seat in the House of Commons, left it today for the last time. He will enter the Lords which I am sure he will be glad of, mainly because of all the expensives he will be able to claim travelling from Glasgow to London all the time ("hey wifey, fancy seeing a West End show? I 'll pop into the Lords for 2 hours and watch a debate from the main benches. I'm officially part of the debate if I sit there, even though I wont contribute. That way we get a flight paid to London, several taxi's, hotel for the night, then the flight back the next day!" So this fat dickhead will keep milking the public purse until he dies! Wouldn't it just be better if he left, never got any more public money, and no one ever heard of him again?

A lot of people prefer privileged toffs who mock German accents.

I guess that's just the way some people are, unfortunately.

It will be interesting who the Commons gets as next Speaker. I heard that the Tory candidate isn't liked by most of the Tory party, and the Labour candidate isn't liked by much of the Labour party. Apparently most Tories are gonna vote for the Labour person, and vice-versa. Both parties would prefer to have the person from the other party in the seat! I personally think Ann Widdecombe could be good (genuinely). She considered standing but I dont think she is going to know.
