Errr...no; because, like SARS, it's an invented 'plague' for
which poorly-educated and scientifically-ignorant governments
have found it favourable to twist the 'science' to unnessecarily
panic really stupid people with and make themselves feel like
they're actually 'in charge of things'.

Your probablity of dying from it are going to be nearer to 100,000 to 1 (in the UK at least). 14 people have died already and if the virus mutates and becomes resistant to Tamiflu (which it has done recently) then we are all fucking doomed captain ... I am staying in until everybody else sneezes their last sneeze - though might pop out for a couple of pints later and a kebab.

And so you'd quarantine millions of holiday makers for the foreseeable future? And that means everyone whether they're showing symptoms or not. People were diagnosed in the UK with swine flu within a week of it becoming known to the public. Someone could have brought it in before we even knew it existed because many may have become ill and thought it was just the regular flu that hundreds of millions get every year.
