'Blur' drummer could become Prime Minister!

This sort of things cracks me up, and could only really happen in Britain. Dave Rowntree, the man who has occupied the Blur drumstool for nearly 20 years, is an aspiring Labour counsellor with 'a bright future ahead of him'. There are several videos of him on YouTube where he is 'doing the party bit'. As he is a millionaire, that could help him rise further and further up the party ranks, as he could use his money for glossy ad campaigns and so on. 'Q Magazine' described Rowntree, when 'Parklife' came out in 1994, as 'ginger haired, boss-eyed, and wonkey toothed'. Could be ideal. Who would like to see Dave as PM?

wouldn't happen, not if he's a ginger - people wouldn't vote for him, just like Neil Kinnock.

yes but that was the age pre- "politician celebrities". we're going back ca. 55 years since Churchill was last prime minister now.

Not only In Britain,
America had Ronald Reagan as it's President. Who was an Actor. And the least said about Arnold Schwarzenegger's Governmentship the better!
Also in Europe and places like Italy Pornstars are in Parliament!

He was rarely photographed in colour either so his ginger-ness wasn't apparent to the people.
