In their day yes they were brilliant, led by the geniuses that were Spike Milligan and Peter Sellers.
Met Michael Bentine in an Curry house in Palm Springs in 1991. Five minutes after Telly Savalas had come in for a takeaway.

decent when they had the likes of adams, campbell, anelka, bergkamp etc
Nowadays they seem to be the also rans of english football
PS:No the question wasnt lost on me, just associate goons with arsenal
