He had a chaotic personal life and was often cruel and nasty.His work had dried up in recent years and his finances were all over the place.He drank far too much and was battling bowel cancer in his last months.All said he was a National Treasure and died too young.

Anybody else catch Keith Allen's film last night?

Anyone remember the episode with the rugby players when he spent the whole day getting pissed as he prepared the feast, as he went to deliver to them he fell arse over tit and it went everywhere

Yeh I watched little knowing that he would turn his toes up soon after.
He was my cooking hero, and an ex squaddie to boot. Albeit from the officers mess and not the sgts mess as I was. I completely empathised with him. He said that he got into cooking because a useless army cook, and boy did we have some useless cunts in the Aldershott Cement Company, served up a load of shyte one night and the other officers dared him to do better. So he went into the kitchen threw the cook out and prepared a meal that the rest of the officers congratulated him on. That was his start.
Whatever critical cunts may say about him he called a spade a spade, unless he tripped over the fucking wanking cunting thing of course. It is that open honesty that twatts like Ramsey don't like. If ever a big headed twatt deserved the press he is now getting it is Ramsey.
