Anyone seeing Coldplay at Wembley this weekend?

I really likedtheir X&Y album but I think Viva La Vida was average at best. A couple of good songs but overall not brilliant. Also their new image - the American Civil War meets Sergeant Pepper - is all wrong too. If they were as good, and looked right too, like they were at the time of X&Y, then I would probably be going to see them live this weekend. Girls Aloud are the support band at the gigs this weekend, and it will be worth going to see Sarah, Kmberley and Cheryl clad in tight lycra. lol. Anyone going to see Coldplay and do you not agree that they last album, and current image, misses the mark?

Sadly it clashes with a paint drying contest.

Apart from the odd bit of slick radio pop (Speed of Sound/In My Place, say) they've missed the mark from the off. Winsome, faux-indie turned corporate tedium incarnate.

A very poor man's Radiohead, and did they rip off Joe Satriani or what?*

*out of court settlement t'other day, btw.

A REALLY GOOD QUESTION.
A friend saw them last week..in his opinion they were very insecure on stage and worried they would be upstaged by the supporting act.
For me,they are very over-rated.
Soon be time to put the "clocks" back lol
