Anyone remember that old Sky One computer games programme that featured the sexy and super-fit Diane Youdale a.k.a. as Jet.

I've seen most of Diane Youdale's publicity pictures when she was Jet in the "Gladiators" TV show. I always hoped she might branch out into glamour modelling or adult films as she certainly had the looks and the body. That uncredited role Diane had as Games Mistress was the closest she probably ever came to fulfilling my fantasy. A real shame.

Apparently she has some talent as a writer (she certainly struck me as exceptionally intelligent) and has gone down this avenue career-wise.

In a former life I worked on Games World and wrote a lot of Diane's GamesMistress scripts (all those corny double entendres, eg "I'd like to welcome you to my little slot"). I only attended filming once, but yes, she did look even better in the flesh in that leather get up than on screen. Mind you, she got awfully sweaty, as you can imagine (studio lights + leather) and no-one ever bothered getting the costume cleaned so it was v stinky - some people might enjoy the idea of that but I thought it was yucky. We also once filmed her in a bath full of bubbles instead of in the costume and at one point one of her nipples appeared above the waterline (she was only wearing bikini bottoms). That bit obviously didn't go out in the show, but some of the crew dubbed off a VHS copy of it; they wouldn't let me have a copy though, the gits. [PS Please don't see this as an opportunity to start whinging at me that half the cheats didn't work - I copied them out of CVG and couldn't be arsed checking them.]
