What about Mandleson, ownes various gaffs, one worth ?2.4 million in central london, also earns around ?13k a month, Commission rules say that he can receive 'entitlements' made up of ?234,000 in 'transitional payments' over three years, and ?78,000 a year for three years to make up the difference between his Cabinet pay and what he would have received as a Commissioner. Now wears a ?24k watch, thats the thing with Peter, he's really in touch with the common man...

Fair point, Lizard. I can't really argue with that. And it applies to various politicians on all sides, as I think you will acknowledge.
Be Seen Here: the pay of "judges, senior NHS managers and GPs" etc will be frozen. This hardly equates to screwing over the average "working man". We're looking at the ?100k-plus bracket there, so it's worth making the context of the proposed "freeze" quite clear.

!cool!
Public sector workers, or shirkers as I prefer to call them.
I have to bite my tongue every time I go into a government building to carry out inspections so fucking hard I am in danger of biting the sodding thing off.
I see twatts who are on another planet because they sure aint on planet earth. They carry out their tedious little jobs concocting figures for the various government departments day in and day out, because thay can't do anything else.
In one of the Pensions Offices the useless twatts had a passenger lift switched off because the in car floor repeater didn't work. The reasoning being they wouldn't know which floor to get out on. Opposite each passenger lift door is a floor number, 5 fucking feet high for fucks sake. Spoilt, cosseted, overpaid and unwanted bastards who are marking time until they draw their index linked pensions paid for by you and me.

'New Labour' is full of posh Guardianista's who couldn't give a toss about the ordinary working man.
