Beatles Remastered - Over Already?

Now that the hype has died down, has this latest 'new Beatles thing' already run out of breath? I still haven't bought any of the new CDs because I'm waiting for the price to drop to something realistic, and also I'm still skeptical of weather it's even worth bothering.

Anyone here bought one of these new CDs? Any real difference?

Bought Sergeant Peppers, Abbey Road and the first one, Please, please me. There is a difference to my ears from previous CDs. Mcartney's bass is much clearer as is the drums. Lennon's vocals magnificent as always. Overall, I would say job well done. Whether its worth coughing up the money if you already have the stuff, is a different issue.

The price in the local HMV seems to have dropped to around ?9 or ?9.99 can't remember which so I would guess come January they could be dropping further in those stores where they have a lot of product.

Just got 'The Beatles' boxset this morning - about halfway in at the moment...just get it 'Buy It' now you wont regret it !happy!
