Why do car manufacturers still put indicators on cars ?
Most of the drivers round here seem to think they're for decoration only.

It's because drivers need them for their hazard warning lights when they park on double yellow lines or on the zigzag lines at zebra crossings.
Apparently it's quite legal to park on double yellow lines, on zigzag lines next to zebra crossings and on the zigzag lines outside schools as long as you switch-on your hazard warning lights.
If you drive a Range Rover or similar 4x4 you don't even have to bother with the hazard lights.

Ah now it makes sense.
I must have missed the bit in the Highway Code where it states that people on the school run can totally disregard anything they learned before they passed their test.
I believe that people who drive 4x4's are going to get a special very expensive test which will allow them do to do whatever they want.

well noted that man.
its the highwaycode dont apply to me cause I got a motor that cost over 20 grand club.
I saw a bird driving a huge 4x4 pick up thing today with massive exhausts, wheels etc etc you get the picture and yes she cant see over the steering wheel and is on the mobile phone.
on each door and the back flap down on the body it had a sticker with
"the intimidator" on it.
makes me laugh that some people have to drive this sort of motor to feel safe on the road.

Some of the worst drivers on the road for not indicating are people with the
"child on board" sigins.
It seems as soon as you put one of those in your motor you can then drive like a cunt.
You can,
speed,be on the mobile, eat, drink, smoke, use the sat nav to get to the end of your road,be reachin round to the little shits on the back seat
All while drving the children about.

Did you miss that bit in the highway code where it says it's OK to use your mobile phone whilst you're doing the school run as long as you have a "Child on board" sign in the back window? I know I did!
Of course, if you drive a 4x4 you can use your mobile phone whenever you want.

Only if you say, "I was only going to be five minutes" if caught doing it, though.

It's obvious isn't it ?
If you happen to miss seeing a fucking great big 4x4,you're bound to see the little "Child on board" sign and thus be able to take appropriate avoiding action when the thing pulls out in front of you.
