Have you noticed how this is the top story on the BBC News channel (it deserves to be) yet Sky News are barely covering it. I don't think they are covering it at all. The top story on Sky is about Tiger Woods driving his car into a tree. We hear that what Tiger claimed happened may not have happened (yawn!) and that now the Police emergency call has been obtained, and Sky are playing it (yawn!, yawn!), all may not have been as it seemed! (triple 'yawn!').

Meanwhile the constant attacks on police in NI that are happening again on a daily basis go unreported. Is it something to do with the fact that the average person in Britain doesn't even know its part of the UK?

I feel truly sorry for the victims and their families. Sounds like a totally cowardly attack.

However why for some reason is something that happens 6000 miles away in Washington State have to number one item on BRITISH NEWS? Same with Tigger. I admit to being a Golf nut and a fan of Woods but not really interested in his private life. Sports star cheats on wife, never happened before has it??

I now tune in to Euro News on Sky to get a more balanced view of World events, not Obama scratching his nuts.

An average of 10 people A DAY are killed on Britains roads, but they rarely get a mention (unless a few are killed in one crash).

Starting again wouldnt make one iota of difference.

Bad things happen in the real world.....nothing will ever change that

I'm always amazed when i see how pitifully paid the so called unskilled workers in a first world country like America are

Federal minimum hourly rate USD7-55

Sounds like the perfect recipe to keep people in perpetual poverty?
Shoud we be suprised when some snap in some random act of violence?

Ah yes perhaps their pay is low but so are their tax rates, their equivalent of VAT for example is 5%
