Amy Fisher was the 15/16 year old young girl who had an affair with Joey Buttafuco wasn't it? She went a bit psycho and began stalking him and his wife I think.
Drew Barrymore portrayed her in a film about the whole affair.

Yes I remember it now. I think Buttafuco brainwashed her into shooting his wife, if I remember correctly.

Rather, her childish naivete convinced her that Buttafuoco was really in love with her and wanted to marry her: when it dawned on her that she was just another shag, she decided removal of the wife would change his mind.
There was some evidence at the trial to suggest that she ws a calculating little minx.
