Does anybody remember Hawaii Five-O?

I remember how every time a crime was committed, Steve Magarrett would call in Danno and Zulu and issue them with instructions like, "Danno, I want you to interview everyone on the island and get back to me in an hour", and "Zulu get a semen sample from every male over 18 by lunchtime!" and sure enough by the end of the show Danno and Zulu would drag in a Ron Jeremy lookalike with giant flares, to whom Steve would say, "Book him Danno, Murder 1".
My question is why didn't Zulu ever get to, "Book him Murder 1?"

He did! (as an "in joke") It took him 25 years and sadly it was never shown on tv.

Fantastic theme music to that show. I also liked the music to The Professionals - "Bodie, Doyle! What the hell do you think you're doing?!!" yelled by an exasperated Gordon Jackson.

They use the theme tune to Hawaii Five-O to great effect in the Mr Bean's Holiday movie (I'm sad I know).

joking apart I think this was possibly the number one show in the states and lots of other countries in its day. Hawaii was such a popular setting that when the show ended it was replaced with another set there..Magnum PI.
Sadly i think nearly all the five -0 cast are dead now, apart from danno williams, think one of the other regulars was chin-ho.
rumours of a big screen remake have been around for years but surely only Jack Lord will ever be steve mcgarrett to millions of fans.

Yeah it was great also like Streets Of San Francisco what about Further Back to 1960s The Untouchables it seems the Gangsters fell out with each other and killed each other off

I see they have re-made a big screen version of The A Team, with a completely different cast.
I've not seen it yet, but I have every expectation that it's going to be crap!

Magnum PI owned the greatest looking Ferrari ever made the 308 GTB, wouldn't touch a modern one with a barge pole. Oh and Lara fancies him, cos of the moustache and flares!!happy!
