I have ordered some dvds from germany using Deutsche Post,I have a tracking number and all it says when I check was scanned in uk on 19th Jan. Iordered these dvds on Jan 2nd.
Is this normal and has anyone else ever used Deutsche Post[they seem terrible to me]
Is there a uk website you can track items on[sent Deutsche Post]?

You'll be pleased to know that Deutche Post was one of the "postal experts" that Mandelson had line-up to buy Royal Mail (at a knock-down price no doubt) with the aim of "modernising" the UK postal service.

You may think Royal Mail is crap now.

Just wait till the likes of Deutsche Post are running things.

You haven't seen anything yet as they say.

If you are sending or recieving stuff like this you will only be able to track it up to the point of entry - so once it hits these shores you cannot track any moves it makes after that.

Seemingly Royal Mail used to track them locally but gave up after if became apparent that the other countries postal services were not putting the same amount of effort in ...

Best bet is to give it another week (as royal mail seem to still be clearing the decks from the xmas rush and their strikes) and then get on to the website that you ordered the movies from.

who do you think owns DHL?

What a good tracking number,nothing for 3 weeks then I get a message saying entered the uk than nothing more until they turn up.I'm so glad I paid extra to get them tracked!!!!!!
