The new series of 'Skins'...

Is anyone watching this? We had the second episode on E4 tonight. I thought the first two series' were brilliant, I have them on DVD, then they replaced all the cast for the last series and this one and I think it is not as good. I'm aware that I'm not 19 so would perhaps not get it as well as someone of that age, but I enjoyed the first two series. Series 3, and this series, Series 4, are weaker I think. They are largely ruined by a total dickhead of a character called Cook. What do other people think of this series?

They are currently screening the 4th series. I personally thought series 1 and 2 were good, series 3 (last year) was weak, and this new series (series 4) is no better.

Ok, series 1 of Skins was screened in 2007 (about 10 episodes); series 2 was screened in 2008 (another 10 episodes); series 3 was screened last year (another 10); and they started screening the new series, series 4, last week. We had the first episode last week of this new series, and the second episode of this new series on TV tonight. Quite simple really.

I can not for the life of me understand why you are finding this so hard to grasp. Have you never heard of a TV programme that has four series over four years? The new series (series 4) has just started on E4. I watched episode 2 of it tonight.
