Downloading YouTube Clips To An iPod

I'm thinking about buying an iPod Classic and want to put some YouTube clips (both music and video) on it but don't know if this possible or if it is how to do it. Any advice greatly received.

You can download youtube stuff via this site
http://keepvid.com/ then save it as an MP4 file which will go on your iPod nicely.
