After hearing about the lucky couple winning ?56m, I was day dreaming as to how I'd squander it. I worked out they'd be getting around ?250 per hour just in interest, so by this time tomorrow they've already earned ?6000!

I think that I would give most of it away and recklessy squander the rest on wine, women and drugs.

Are they really lucky?

Will they ever be able to trust anyone again, who may be after their money?

Is there a risk they or they children may be kidnapped for a ransom?

Will they be able to keep their old friends, or will they not want to know them any more?

I am not so sure winning that much is a good thing.

Win a million or so, yes, but above that it can bring more problems than it solves.

To give an example of how getting a big win on the lottery can change things just imagine this.

You are an ordinairy guy who goes down the same pub a few nights a week. The same group of you drink together, and you all take it in turns to buy a round. You have been doing this for years.

Then you win a large amount on the lottery.

So you go down the pub the next night and buy everyone in the pub drinks all evening to celebrate.

Even then some people think you are "showing off" with your money and turn against you.

The next night you go to the pub, and buy a round. You sit there waiting for your mate to buy the next round.

He says "you must be joking, you have a million in the bank and you expect me to buy a round".

So to keep the peace you buy all the drinks for everyone again that eveing.

Now some people think you are really showing off and suggest they dont need free drinks off you as they can buy their own.

After a few more nights of this you get so fed up with the aggro you dont go to the pub any more.

So at a stroke you have lost your mates and lost your local pub.

Years and years of going to the same pub with the same mates has been destroyed in just a few weeks.

This sort of thing will happen right throughout your life, relatives and friends will accuse you of either showing off with your money (if you give it away) or being tight if you dont.

With your winnings you buy a big house in an area you dont know, surrounded by people you dont know, and all of a sudden your old life did not seem so bad.

p.s. I know some people cope with it, but many dont.

Then they were never really mates. You were someone they happened to associate with because you drank in the same pub/lived in the same hole/worked at the same place/went to the same school/uni.

Of course, this realization can give some people issues. Still, if given the chance to test out my friends' loyalty I'd take the ?56million and take the chance.

and for a few grand you can now have them killed. everyone's a winner!

Mmm...I think life changing amounts to certain family and friends....Then a long LONG and Exotic holiday to plan things out....Various surgeries,work with archtect desiging a ?10,000,000 fuck pad in the country ....(A Three floor,wall to ceiling windows job..Top floor lpartly like a classy swingers club,with playrooms,various sets,changable lighting,Bar,luxury sofa"s,pool,sauna, fuck machines.... a real "problem selling on" job...)..... would love a yatcht,the usual fripperies,clothes,a nice Maserati,maybe a night club and restuarant for entertaining people in the porn biz ,lol.....a big big party,maybe in Carribean,where fly everyone out to celebrate with me.....and then james the accountant to tell me to stop spending and what and where to invest the rest .... !happy! !cigar! !drink! xx
