just a quick question ,my phone is due for upgrade next week
cant make my mind up between the blackberry or the iphone
what do u guys think ??

iPhone. Although you may want to wait if you can, a new one is *rumoured* to be due out in June-ish time.

Depends what you want to use it for. Some say Blackberrys are more a business device than a personal device. With the iPhone it's the other way round.

Blackberrys are a bit more 'in' too, I think.

I've tried both but much prefer my Blackberry. It's got old fashioned things like "Buttons" and stuff!

Buttons? You"re just rude!wink! ... and make sure you delete everything off your old fon Holly- you dont wanna be causing any heart attacks if you trade it in!

Before you decide on either, take a few minutes to decide what you need your phone for. I have a Blackberry but to be honest I don't use 90% of the frills. Do you really need all the "apps" of the iphone ?. I love gadgets but when I get a phone I go overboard and then regret I didn't buy one for ?20 which would do everything I need. I'll go overboard next time as well then worry about it later.

if your thinking of a blackberry ive got the nokia e71 like a blackberry but if your used to a nokia phone this could be the one!

Neither. You're using googlemail so I'd go for an android-based smartphone (as android is a google operating system).

I have the Google Nexus One, by HTC. It's sick.

Coming out on t-mobile in a few weeks (and on Vodaphone and o2 in April) is the HTC Desire, HTC Legend and Sony Ericsson Xperia X10. All android phones, all smartphones and all way better than the current iphones and blackberries.

The big advantage with the android phones is that it syncs flawlessly with your google accounts and that the app store isn't controlled the same way apple controls theirs. I don't want apple telling me what I can and cannot do on my phone and google aren't as controlling. All the above phones have more ram, bigger, clearer screens, faster processors and better cameras than the iphones and blackberries. Apple are playing catchup at the moment.

Heh, was going to suggest that perhaps the android phones might be worth a try, but thought perhaps that's not what's asked here.

In all honesty, it really does depend so much on what you want your phone to do.
