I don't think you can answer such a question with yes or no.
Do I trust everything they say? No.
Do I distrust everything they say? No.
Do I think there is both truth and untruth coming from their mouths? Yes.
To be totally trusting would make you credulous; to be totally distrusting would make you a paranoid.

To paraphrase the late but great Kenny Everett - 'Put them all in a field and bomb the bastards'.....granted he was aiming at the 'commies' but the result would be the same !thumbsup! IMO
Sorry Tony mate - I think the number of 'Yes' or 'No' responses to such a question is going to be rather minimal !grin!

No.
As for the debate, Clegg clearly won but he can say anything as he knows he'll never have to deliver. Brown clearly came second and Cameron was hopeless. That story where he, in effect, said "I met a real life black person recently and he hates bloody foreigners too" was funny though. Later he decided to claim that oje of our most important trading partners, China, was bracketed with Iran as a threat to our national security. And this man wants to be Prime Minister?

No but then I stopped listening to their pure spin when I was about 20
If you were to go by what a politician says during a lead up to an election you'd swear they were all from the same party
ie tough on crime, more money for health, education & job creation
Blah blah blah....yawn...wake me up after the election
As my self made Greek millionaire Uncle said you cant change whats going to happen so just get on with living and ignore them
You can make a good living regardless of who is in power
You'll enjoy it even more if you dont follow what those in power are doing

I could always tell when one MD I worked for was lying. It was when he opened his mouth. The bastard had no morals and would say whatever a client wanted to hear.
The bastard went bankrupt, luckily after I left the company.
The vast majority of politicians are the same. When they open their mouths they are fucking lying. There are a few exceptions, and I would say that they are the ones who were not involved in the recent expenses scandal. Frank Field for one, who really is too clever and decent a chap to be associated with the shyte that is now the Paliamentary Labour Party.
I think he should be an Independant and stick two fingers up to Broon and his arselicking accolytes.

Hard to say yes or no followed with a but....
I refuse to believe that every politician got into politics to lie and cheat their way through their career.
I think on th emost part they got in genuinely believing they could make a change.
Now this is why its called politics because you'll find on the way, they will meet people who have the same ideals but not agree on how to achieve it and thats when chaos sets in and politics beomes about who will win the game.
It becomes a popularity contest and the cause they were fighting for somehow gets lost, diluted or delayed until there is not enough time to get anyhting done before the next party takes over....
So can I say..."Yeah but, no but, yeah but...."
