The Mighty Blackpool!

Lovers of fine football will already be aware that the mighty Blackpool, having been the bookies' favourites for relegation, have qualified for the play-offs to the Premiership.
I have it on very good authority (bloke down the pub, closing time, Saturday night) that should Holloway's Heroes make it to the Premiership, Tevez and Bellamy, Rooney and Vidic have already signed up to play at the Theatre of Dreams (Bloomfield Road average attendance this season less than 10,000 but room for improvement!)
Apparently the reasons given for them joining (same source) are: the healthy sea air; the ale's cheaper and unlike United and City, Blackpool are nailed on certainties for Champion's League football, season after next. Their intelligent thinking on this is that by then, the Glazers will have trousered all the United assets and City's owners will have got bored and gone back to supporting camel racing.
I am sure that all lovers of fine football and football fairness (note the Cleggie touch?) will be supporting Blackpool in their pilgrimage to the Promised Land.
Amen
