A girl claiming to be a nuts or zoo published model has set up on adultwork with a few crappy snapshots of her back.
She is charging ?140 for half hour, 250 for 1 hour and 300 for 2hours for modelling assigments.
I emailled her with some friendly advice to look at what other girls similar to her were charging.
I got a reply "I will charge what i decide".

Am i being unrealistic?

Well, it's a market. She can charge whatever she likes, as long as there is someone willing to pay her fees. If she does not find anyone, she'll either have to reduce her rates, or decide that adultwork pays too badly.

I don't think you can expect a flat rate throughout the industry. Some will (have to) work for less, some can easily demand more.

You have not said what level she is working to but there are plenty of established reputable models who will work to solo toys level for far less than ?300 for 2hours and I guess some who would do non-publication Gonzo too.

Unless very lucky her work diary surely will remain blank.

The industry as quite a few new & eastablished models charging silly fee's but the plus side to this is that the other girls charging reasonable rates will get all the work.

I'm not impressed if she is published in Maxim, Zoo, FHM or any lads mag because I know those mags pay less money than porn and probably explains why certain lads mag models have crossed over to doing porn

Other than that she can charge what she sees fit. It just depends on who is going to pay it versus how much work she will get for that amount.

And I certainly wouldnt take the word of a published model who puts crap pictures showing her back.

That indicates she will have a foul attitude and want to get the job over as soon as possible.
