I really couldn't care less.
They're all a bunch of over paid dickheads that happens to be able to kick a bag of air around the pitch.
But i do know what your saying, it would be so unjust if that was to happen. Seeing as there are so many other unsung hero's that deserve it more, but not getting the recognition.

Blimey! The air crackles with patriotism and a general love for ones country round here.
No wonder the BNP lost!
Brits seem to hate themselves more than they hate others by the sounds of it....Or maybe they are giving credit where its due...Gasp!
We are really as unpredictable as ourt weather right?

Given how long it took for Sir Geoff Hurst to be knighted (and he remains the only person to score a hat-trick in a World Cup Final, lest we forget!), even if, by some miracle, the current team lift the trophy, it'll be a while yet before we talk of Sir John Terry and and Lord Beckham (who isn't even in the squad... does anyone know what his exact role is in South Africa???) !!!

"Do U really want England to win the World Cup."
Yes. And how it is going to happen is as follows.
I come on as a 16 year old substitute in the second half when we are 2-0 down to Brazil. All else has failed. I score 3 and head two certain goals off our line. I am made a Lord straightaway and vote against every single bill of the Lib Dem Con coalition.
Of course, I live happy ever after.

His role is simply to be David Beckham - in other words All Things To All Men:
The Talisman (for the younger squad members to look up to with big doe eyes), the Sporting Ambassador (to promote England's World Cup bid for 2018 by pressing the flesh with the game's mover's and shakers), the Columnist (let's face it he's short of a bob or two, so he needs to do the odd "exclusive" from the touchlines) and the Fashion Icon (sticky-up hair and natty suits are set to be the the look for the autumn season).
All Hail His Supreme Davidness !bow! !bow!

I couldn't give a fuck ! Bunch of overpaid prima fucking donnas are demonstrating just what they are.
I do want England to fuck Australia though in the ODI's prior to the Ashes.
That would be nice.
