i would just like 2 set the story straight and let u all know the "family problems" as john so nicely put it where actually a valid reason.i feel i need 2 explain the issue now because john has decieded 2 b so unprofessional about it.
Over the next few weeks i will b back and forth 2 Ireland 2 give evidence in a rape trial and this is the reason i was not able 2 go on the trip.
I only found at the last minute when he was arrested and i had 2 go over straight away 2 give a statment.
so i hope u can now all understand now why i could not go.

All models are liars and cheaters when it suits them, it is in their nature. He has the right to expose poor professionalism so other photographers will be on the guard in future. If you are so professional then you should pay him for his financial loss.

Yes, all to often these days? models cancel on nothing more than a whim - leaving everybody else connected with the shoot up Shite Creek and possibly even hundreds of pounds out of pocket. The most galling thing is that they don't seem to have the slightest conception that they have done anything wrong and caused considerable hassle and grief. But imagine if the lady in question was a Solicitor, doctor, policewoman etc. Not turning up for a meeting or appointment would simply not be an option. So, why is it that 'models' can't be as professional as, er professionals? If they want respect they have to earn it.

Of course if there is a 'valid' reason why a model cannot turn without much notice then that?s perfectly understandable - like Karina Clarke the young lady in question. Other understandable reasons might be sudden illness, or bereavement, traffic accident, all sorts of unpleasant things. However, not turning up simply 'cause you can't be bothered, or you?ve had a row with the boyfriend or because you've suddenly decided to go shopping instead are not valid reasons. Sadly, this kind of model behaviour is become more prevalent and model agency bosses are blaming producers for standing for it, where as in the past any unprofessional models would have found the immortal words "You'll never work in this town again!" ringing in their ears.

I don't think John was being touchy at all - it's not clear that he was aware of all the facts when he made his comments, but on the initial face of it I would have been absolutely livid if somebody fucked up a shoot costing that kind of dough on nothing more than a whim and I would certainly have been urging fellow producers and photographers never to use the model in question again.

OK Lets be honest if someone was arested the and the police wanted a statement that urgent they would have come to england john had shelled out ?2500 why should he foot the bill?
also if this guy was arested for rape there wont be a trial for at least 6 months ,all that to one side WHY DID SHE NOT PHONE HIM AND EXPLAIN a text message im sorry is a bit weak .
all this said and done im sure karina is a lovley girl but remember if this happened on a regular basis people like john would go under
