Hi,
There you have it boys and girls.

I have put today's results through some very sophisticated football modelling software and the main finding is that Blackpool are nailed on certainties to win the Premier League.

For the optimists amongst you the odds on Blackpool winning the Premier League were 10,000 to 1, last time I looked, but I would guess they have been reduced after this stunning performance.

For the pessimists amongst you, a lot more of these on this forum, the odds are 7-2 on for relegation.

Blackpool - just like Brazil, only hotter!

Cheers
D

A good result.

I've looked into that crystal ball of mine and can confirm that Blackpool will finish fourth from bottom, just outside the relegation places. Unfortunately the 2nd and 3rd from bottom teams will form a coalition, accumulate their points together and send you down.

Hard luck.

And the chairman of the team second from bottom will be found guilty of defrauding his supporters and their decision to accumulate points will be banned.

No, at the time of writing, Skybet are still offering 10,000-1.

Great news. Still time to put a few quid on and get ready for early retirement.

Blackpool - hotter than Pele's Brazil. More honest than 10,000 Cleggsters.

"Firstly, where is Blackpool."

At the moment Blackpool is in second place (behind Chelsea).

As I said, I put the results through some very sophisticated modelling software which took into account playing Wigan (quite strong last season at home) away and playing WBA at home rather than just looking at goals for and against and number of points.

And like I said, it came up with Blackpool as nailed on certainties for the title. !laugh!
