I live not a million miles from the Paddington/Little Venice area of London and have been informed that Liam Gallagher and his missus Nicole Appleton (formerly of All Saints) have, this week, bought a house overlooking the canal on Blomfield Road. These houses costs millions of pounds and it shows that he is either currently making lots of money from Oasis's back catalogue, the advance for his new band 'Beady Eye' must have been huge, or his new clothing range is doing really well.

It raises the age-old question about whether rock'n'rollers, who start out with an anti-establishment vibe to what they do are selling out by joining the establishment. Their new neighbours on Blomfield Road are top business people, actors, etc. It's funny cos if you watch this clip of Liam at The Brits this year, where he is interviewed by his wife and Mel Blatt (another former All Saint) it would seem that he is spending most of his money on white powder...

All those who made loads of money were wise to move out because it would leave them a rpime target for robbery and al that negative stuff that happens in the areas where they grew up and while many would be grateful to have them around, jealousy is still a bitch enough of a reason to move out
