Filthy corrupt bastards taking a good few quid for bowling no-balls. Now, IF the said they did it to get the money to send to the Pakistani appeal for the floods, I'd say 'OK, fair play lads' But they got greedy......and caught and denied it. I hope they are banned for life now

However plenty of time for the 2 bowlers involved who are still young.

That's not strictly true.

Mohammad Asif is 27, so if banned is unlikely to play test cricket again, even if the ban is lifted at a later date.

While Amir is only 19 and has/had a great future ahead of him, even if he is banned and then the ban is rescinded as with Salim Malik (some 8 years later), any lengthy period of time away from first class cricket (and any ban the ICC imposes would be for ALL forms of cricket at any level, not just Test and Limited Overs Internationals) would severely affect his ability to come back... especially as a fast bowler, where constant bowling in match conditions is necessary to maintain a good rhythm.

Pakistan should be thrown out of international cricket - there have been more than enough cases of cheating and corruption involving them. As for the players involved, if the case is proved against them they should be given a life ban from the game.
