Thought I was back in South Africa, what a woeful, talentless pool of overpaid footballers we saw out there last night.I turned off at 70 minutes convinced we were't going to score and I was right. These ?100,000 grand a weekers think all they have to do is turn up yet they are obviously lacking something that means yet again loads of people trekked to London on a pointless fantasy. If I had paid ?50 to watch that sack of shit live I'd have booed them off too.
And as for Rooney being worth ?75 million.... pleeeeease!

Well the only way to stop this is for the tens of thousands of footy fans right across the country to stop going to matches.
Unfortunately however football fans seem to be on a par with crack cocaine addicts, they know what they're watching/taking is shit but they have to keep going and further fuelling their addiction(and lining the clubs/players pockets) by buying endless amounts of new season club shirts at the bargain basement price of 3 million pounds each. tic.
I'm glad I have plenty of other things to waste my money on than watching as you say 11/22 ridiculously overpaid blokes chasing a ball round a bit of grass.

Spot on Justin.
I'd rather watch paint drying on walls than to waste my time watching (as you say) 'overpaid blokes' trying to play what use to be a watchable spectacle game back in the 60s and 70s...Not any more, it isn't.
What are the words I'm trying to find? Oh yes!.....Boring! Boring! Boring!

If Peter Crouch is the answer, we're obviously asking the wrong question!

If ?75 million had ever been offered for Rooney, the Florida gimps would have sold him quicker than you can say "Ronaldo", and Sir Alex would have had to like it and lump it if he wanted to keep on collecting his ?3million a year. As it stands, he's worth about ?7.50. I wish Colleen would either take him back or kick him out!

Long time since Rooney earned a paltry ?3m a year....try 4 times that if you include his endorsements....

Sir Alex, not Rooney! God knows what that thick twat is getting paid.
