Can the UK honestly afford this wedding between William... am turning into a horse and Kate... mummy i finally caught him
Now living in Switzerland I can think its going to be funny to watch... 1000s of public sector job cuts will have kicked in by then BUT REJOICE Bill's humping Kate... take the day off.
It would have made Di's day!!

It's bound to cost a packet, but think of the TV rights, marketing rights (MacDonald's MacWedding Burger etc) general boost to the tourist industry, the inevitable Kate-n-Billy sex tape etc. Which makes me wonder - Who actually 'owns' the rights to all this frivolity? Do the Royals get their cut, or would that be vulgar and common!?

No worries, David Cameron just stood outside number ten and said he'll help them out with the cost of the wedding.
That's nice of him isn't it?
We all know how poor the Windsor's are.
I'm sure Dave's happy to help out any family in similar circumstances.

They already had this money in the coffers for the royal wedding. I'm not anti royal. I like them. I think they give a sense of history to this country.
Leave em be.
The cutbacks have nothing to do with this.

Maybe they'll let OK Magazine do a makeover Jordan style this would pay for the whole affair. However OK would have to do some work on the Royal Carriage ie

Bluebird could pay Kate to do a b/g scene. That would cover most of the cost.

Just heard her speak. She sounds like Listeria from the Harry & Paul 'Saw You Coming' sketch.
Perhaps the could get wed in the Maldives? I hear the wedding scene there has taken a nose dive after recent events. They should get a good deal.

We've been out of the UK for a long time and not seen any news, what's happened in the Maldives? We were thinking of booking a holiday there!
