I see that TB is to be recalled to the Chilcott inquiry, as it is thought there might be a few gaps and inconsistances in his previous evidence.

Personally I would prefer to see him jailed without bail and extradited to Sweden or wherever. Meanwhile his bank accounts should be frozen and any websites he has, closed down. Apparently this approach has become quite popular recently.

I'm afraid that's not how we do things in this country.....well, not with ex-prime ministers anyway.

Bearing in mind the enquiry cannot "apportion blame", or even ask any embarrassing questions, I wonder what the point of it is, apart from !cigar!!cigar!!cigar!

It's a lark that would have even had "Del Boy Trotter" blushing!

Despite the inability of the inquiry to apportion blame I think that any public forum that in some way lowers what little esteem people like Blair seem to think they are still held in by the rest of us, is worth it.

They called him Teflon Tony for a reason. People like him, and that arsehole George W Bush, are not subject to the things other people would be. They just walk between the raindrops - and never get wet.

One reason he is referred to as Teflon Tony is of course alliteration. If his name were Richard I suppose he'd be called 'non-stick-Dick'. (Best I could come up with)

In the words of the late, great Dudley Moore and Peter Cook "basically he's a James Naughtie"...greasier than a 5 day old kebab and twice as poisonous. I reckon his ring tone is Hail to the Chief.
