Sex education

In the first forum there is a post about the government wanting ISPs to adopt an opt-in policy for porn. The poster says that the people who want the ban are those who don't want sex education for children.
So here we go... I don't want an internet porn opt-in but sex education should be taken out of schools because the policy plainly does not work. It is a definition of madness to do the same thing over and over again and expect a different result each time. Rather than realising that sex education in schools is a total failure, the government wants to increase it to younger and younger children.
When I was at school which is not that long ago, sex education was minimal and I know of only one 15-year-old who got pregnant. Nowadays it is ubiquitous and thousands of teens get pregnant. Coincidence? And God knows how many have HPV or some other disease...
Sex education is the only subject taught in schools where we "expect" people not to use the knowledge that they have acquired. Teachers teach maths and expect kids to add up, football and expect them to score goals, cricket score runs, history analyse the past, French speak French, etc but sex - teachers tell them this is what you do but don't actually do it please. It's madness.
