We hear today that there was apparently a plot to oust Tony Blair from Downing Street just after the 2005 election, so that the ego-mad Scotsman Brown could advance his career and get the top job. I see that Labour were taking a leaf out of the Tory's book, trick the public into voting for you then just do whatever the hell you like after you win office.

It is bad enough that Blair said he would do a full five years, then went after three. To say he would do the full five then Brown takes over a few months later would have been a real con to the public. But all that mattered for Brown was that his career aspirations were met, not what the public wanted. We had to have that twat Brown as PM for three years, five would have been unimaginable.

I am very pleased that Brown has now disappeared and that we never hear from him anymore. We never wanted to hear from him in the first place. Do people think that a Brown-led Government for 5 years, with Ed Balls as one of the top people, would have lasted? The result of the 2010 election could have been very differnt. Labour would probably have been smashed even harder last year and we may not have the coalition now, just Cameron and the Tories.

Look into the pattern below and say to yourself, "THIS STORY IS A FIGMENT OF MY IMAGINATION- ED AND HIS PALS HAVE DONE NO WRONG- ITS ALL TORY LIES!"

Here is the proof, from the horses mouth so to speak, that he was not a plotter!

I think the differnce with Brown wanting the top job and his huge determination to get it was differnt from some of the previous high-aspiring Cabinet ministers in Governments over former decades was that it was agreed with the leader at the time (Blair, when he took over in 1994). John Major didn't make an agreement with Margaret Thatcher when she first became leader that 'one day you will hand over to me' and have her agree. So Brown was itching to ascend from the off. He and Blair famously did that deal in the restaurant in Islington, London, and they agreed that Blair would stand, and if he became leader (which seemed likely) then Brown would take over some time later. Brown sat in wait at the Treasury for 10 years then finally became PM.

What a predictable response from Johnson, can you imagine him being so blase, if the same kind of scandal had hit the Coalition?

He's be running around the streets screaming hysterically, "SEE! SEE! I TOLD YOU ALL, LOOK AT THE EVIL OF THE TORY COALITION LOOK HOW THEY PLOT AND BACK STAB EACH OTHER! LOOK HOW THEY WILL CLAW AND CLAMBER OVER EACH OTHERS BACKS TO GAIN POWER! LISTEN TO ME BRETHREN, NEW LABOUR WOULD NEVER BEHAVE IN SUCH A DISGUSTING MANNER!
