Hi Guys
I'm getting a new mobile phone and I don't know that much about them I've narrowed it down to the two I want, the Samsung Galaxy S and the iphone 3,both roughly about ?230 on e-bay.
Does anyone know which is the best?

Do you mean iPhone 3 (3g or 3gs) or 4? I wouldn't go for the 3g/gs its going to be left behind and struggle with ios5 that comes out september-ish.

If you want an iPhone 4, it may be better to wait until sept. when a rumoured new iPhone may be launched, probably releasing a lot of secondhand 4's onto the market.

As for which is best, you won't get a definative answer, just a huge hread of fans of either arguing their points. Best to go to a shop and see which suits you best.

I have a Samsung Monte phone and a Samsung Galaxy 7" Tablet, both run on Android and lets me do more or less what I want. The iphones are undoubtedly a very good piece of kit but I simply resent having to do everything through iTunes. Android leaves me in control but I suppose at the end of the day it depends on what you want to do with the phone.
