Just heard two women chatting away on the Gatwick Express... one said to the other..
"if only Tony Blair was in charge we wouldn't be having any of the problems we've got"
The other replied that she felt the same... "the whole country went down hill after Tony stepped down"
I think this is the belief of many in the UK.

Yeah, well he certainly sorted Iraq out.
Hundreds of thousands killed, no weapons of mass destruction found, British troops killed needlessly and six years of sectarian warfare which is still bubbling away.
Security and armaments companies made a "bomb" though.

If you look at the quality of analysis on the news it's hardly surprising that such opinion may be prevalent.
On Sunday following Appropriate Adult the ITV news effectively led with a sales pitch for Darling's book ! WTF !
