I see it's been officially announced today that Richard Desmond has closed the adult website..Fantasy 121.

Although N/S says it's for financial reasons.

Hmmm, interesting. I reckon that there?s probably some truth in the "financial reasons." If the site were making good money a businessman such as Desmond would certainly not throw it away. And just this morning I was talking to a very well regarded Brit producer and website proprietor and he's very pessimistic about the future - if he could see a way out he would take it!
But of course we know Desmond doesn't care two figs about the porn industry in general, it's just been a very good earner for him in the past. Now that he's trying to cosy up to the establishment the adult aspects of his business are proving to be a millstone round his neck and a very big stick with which those poncy twats can beat him with. So maybe if the site wasn't lighting his bank balance's fire maybe it might have been worth sacrificing it to make those poncy fuckers think that he was turning into "a new man?"
