O/T Maybe?!

May I say first off, that this is not intended to give offence to genuine people with genuine reasons,.

It is directed at tine wasters (their's and others) who profess to be-and are willing and able -to be one thing, but when it comes to the crunch, they become something else. To whit, "Gee, I'd give my right arm to be there, but my budgie just broke his leg" and other more serious-sounding excuses, but equally fucking silly and insulting to ones's intelligence.

Those of us who occasionally organise "events" like Wendy with her parties, Ben with his auditions, etc. and Phil Mc and myself with the current Gangbang, John Mason etc. etc.

We just sometimes get pissed off with the whole thing - like Why Bother. Were it not for you genuine people out there we would not; you make it worthwhile. So we do it. We do it because we love it and if we make a few bob out of it, believe me it is a FEW BOB.

This is not a MOAN (before I get taken to task), It is an observation on human nature and applies equally to other walks of life.

On Saturday we are all going to have a Great Time, - it is not a GangBang in the normal sense, it is a bit of fun, more like a party, No pressure on anyone; and no doubt afterwards, will be the usual remarks like "when is the next one" "Gee,If only I had known", "When is it in the Outer Hebrides"

Having communed at great length with J.Walker(CEO) and my Chief of Security (The mad pussycat) it has been decided at the Highest Board level to post this missive.

Realistically I think you're going to have to accept that if you advertise such an event to the public (even a specific forum like this), you're going to have people who are all mouth and no action. Sometimes excuses will be genuine (I couldn't make Wendy's party for a genuine reason, for instance) and on other occasions they won't be. The last thing anyone wants to do is wade through the muddy waters and start casting aspertions on who is or isn't genuine. I understand that's not want you were doing, so don't lose (any more of) your hair! :)

I find it an interesting habit just to sit back and watch people do the weird things they do. Like someone once said - there's none as queer as folk [and officer dibble]

You'll be pleased to know my budgie's leg is now healed.

"Wish to hell I was there" For Christ sake Ace, this is just what Marcus is on about! If you wished you were there that much you would be! Marcus has gone ahead and organised this do after testing the bgafd waters and asking who would like to attend such an event Then he had a load of knobheads saying "Oh yes, if so and so is there you can certainly count me in - I've always fancied shagging her!" and "Cor, that bird looks great! You'll have punters queuing round the block!" This led him to suspect that he was onto a winner, so he duly went ahead and made the arrangements. But talk is cheap and now these knob heads are making their pathetic excuses and possibly leaving Marcus in an uncomforable fiscal position.

Officer Dibble on the other hand DOESN?T FANCY IT IN THE SLIGHTEST and he categorically WILL NOT BE THERE! So, don't be surprised if he doesn?t turn up. How's about that for an honest, no-bullshit statement of fact? Wouldn't it be nice if everyone was as honest with themselves as me hey Marcus?

Anyhow, although I don't fancy it the promoters are old pals so I hope it will be 'alright on the night.' Good luck chaps.

Officer Dibble.
