Some observations about Lizzie day.

1). I guess the Brits cannot be rivaled for pageantry !
2). Did anyone notice there wasn't one piece of footage in the montage about Lizzie (with Beautiful Day as backing track) with Diana in it.
3). Cliff - pack it in, you were worse than awful. Elton and Macca weren't much better but Tome Jones rocked !
4). Kylie - you are fucking gorgeous !

Being a republican I gave the whole thing a miss, but I gather Cheryl Cole showed the whole nation that she can't sing without auto-tune, so at least something good came out of the whole thing. Maybe now she can go back to her job manning the check out at Lidl

I gather Madness were good (are they anything but?)

While we may be good at pageantry, sadly it's not something we can export, other than the odd BBC broadcast sent around the world.

What this country needs is an end to the worthless but privileged few lording it over the rest of us and some jobs being created!!!

The concert was utter shite. A bunch of has beens and mime artists. Not one act from the real rock community that is the ones who sell out stadiums and play live......

yep we noticed that... it was as if Diana had been erased from history.... Goes to show that William is a wimp... he could not even get his late mother included in the footage!!! and he says he loves his gran !

Yeah couldn't agree more, when Her Maj and Camilla were having a laugh together, I said to Lara, "WHAT ABOUT LADY FUCKING DI??" How quickly she's been airbrushed out of history, its a scandal!
