can anyone help me to find out whether club seventeen is a legal site?it says all models are over the age of 18 but anyone can say that, cant they????or if anyone knows that it is a 100% legal.
thanx
club seventeen??????
Re: club seventeen??????
Markus, everyone can say that but if it was found out any of the girls on there were actually under 18 the site would be closed down and the law ('ello 'ello) would get involved. I have seen 20 year old girls get made up to look 14, its absolutely amazing but assume its genuine. Anyway you are going into the site on the genuine believe (on their say so) that the girls are actually not underage so its pretty unlikely you could get in to trouble for it. Love Denise D.
Re: club seventeen??????
I live in Holland where this si produced and all models are actually over 18. there's a disclaimer somewhere in the small print if you want to take the time to check....
Re: club seventeen??????
Doesnt matter where you go Markus, models have to be over 18 to be published nude, they check ID and so on for each shoot, I should know...dont always get it right and theres always the unscrupulous photographer but 99.9% safe.
Re: club seventeen??????
Where is this law that says you can't take nude photos of 16 & 17 yr olds? I've never heard of it. The protection of children act covers up to 16 only last time I read it. Okay a model must be 18 before they can sign a release but if a parent does it for them what law is broken? A few years back every other page 3 girl was 16 or 17.
Re: club seventeen??????
This has been discussed before.
It is not illegal in the UK to photograph 16 and 17 year olds nude or in hardcore action. But I think it might be illegal in the US so the stuff could not be sold over there. And under 18s cant be bound by a contract (except for necessarys - boring legal case) so if there was a dispute the model could not be bound by anything she had signed which would obviously put photographers off using them.
Linda Lusardi did an open leg shoot for Penthouse aged 16.
Paula Yates did the same aged 15 although she told them she was 16. She talked about this in a TV interview I saw. I used to have the magazine and she certainly looked a lot older than 15 - amazing what makeup can do.

O/T - Re: club seventeen??????
Where is Wooodgnome? Usually he would have popped up by now, shaking his little fist and blathering on about how Off Topic this subject matter is. I guess he must be ill - Get Well Soon Woodgnome!!
As to the ownership of (Club) Seventeen:-
If you mean Max Hardcore/Steiner a.k.a. Paul Little, then I very much doubt he has ever had anything to do with Studio Seventeen, which is based in the Netherlands and has been around for at least 20 years I'd say. Nothing I have ever read leads me to believe Little has any interest in this company, or that he has even shot stuff for them in his career.
Back in the day it was quite common for Seventeen to produce hardcore photoshoots and movies featuring models under the age of 18 since the law in Holland allowed it ( I think the age restriction was 15 or 16).
Nowadays because of wider international distribution, particularly the US, and also moves withing Holland to raise the legal age limit for hardcore to 18, the studio has to maintain proof of age records for anything that they ship to the States
which means all the recent stuff features over 18s. I would very much doubt that the Club Seventeen site features anything of the older material which may have included 'under age' performers.
