				A question about the forum...

Previously when I would type something it would get as far as it could on the
right side of the page then would automatically drop down to the next line, the
text would appear as wide as the page you read when reading a post on the
forum - namely as wide as your screen. Nowadays however the text just keeps
going in an infinite sentence that would probably run to about a metre long
and I have to keep tabbing down to type on the line below. I am doing it here
now, the reason these blocks of text are so narrow is because of me having
to tab down all the time. How do I rectify this? It never used to happen.

All seems normal to me with text automatically wrapping to the next line.
Have you had an update to your browser?
Maybe try another browser and if you can a different computer.

Thanks for the advice, it could be a browser issue. I might just keep writing
narrower paragraphs like this one and like most of the others I've typed in
recent times. If I'm doing a long message I sometimes type it somewhere else, then
copy-and-paste it to here, then the thing is as wide as it used to be. Slightly
shorter message I will probably accept how it now appears and just do narrower
messages as I've said.

Word wrap here works normally for me.
What browser are you using?

Not sure off hand, forgive my ignorance but how do I know which browser
I'm using?

				If it's a coloured ball it's Chrome. If it's a fox curled up on itself it's Firefox and if it's a big blue 'e' you're a moron.

				I'll make it easier...
Which icon on your desktop do you click on to get on the internet?

Top row: Chrome / Opera / Internet Explorer
Bottom row: Firefox / Safari

I click on a big blue 'e' so I guess I'm a moron. This is just the sort of post I expect
from someone like you.

I was winding you up, silly billy.
Most non-techies never bother with other browsers and I know there was a good chance you was still using the browser that shipped with windows. And since you recently complained I called you a fucking idiot, I set you you up. It was intended to wind you up as well as parody my own previous rudeness. You see, now? Do you? DO YOU?
Now, the joke would have been wasted if you was using Chrome or some other browser, so it was a risk I took. I did overlook, however, that the joke would be wasted on you anyway.......and it was. For fuck's sake, Max.
Anyway.....rude as I am to you, I'm not such a heartless fucker as to let you carry on with that shit browser you're using at the moment.
Here> Download and install that and all your word-wrapping troubles will be over. Please......no need to thank me you big gormless fucker, you.

Thank you for the link. I am now able to post without having infinite text that goes on for several metres off the right of the screen. Not sure why I used to be able to type like this when I was using the 'big blue e' as you call it and then all of a sudden I couldn't. With the Chrome browser one can. It's rather odd that I get a slightly different, and more grainy, type-face with this. The text on the screen is in a slightly different kind of lettering too, like an old type-writer, but it doesn't matter.
