Great stuff, porridge. Chop up a banana. Mix a cup of oats with two cups of milk. Add some raisins and put in the microwave for 4 minutes while you're having a cup of tea.
Add a spoon of honey and away you go. Couldn't do without it.
Any culinary tips, esteemed forumites would like to share?
Next week: aren't slow cookers great with cheaper cuts of meat?

It was Ronnie Barker's best thing in my opinion.
As for the grey sludge eaten by Jocks you can keep it as far as I am concerned.

Add a 1/2 cup of flaxseed to the mix adds protein and omega 3!

It is neither grey nor sludge, not if it's made properly. Perhaps you might want to try some before you pass judgement, or do you just stick to a "sausage sarnie" and a mug of "cha"?.

David you can't get anything right man!
It should be made with water and a dash of salt!
Anything else just ruins it!

Aye, I'm afraid so David!. We make it with water rather than milk and salt rather than sugar.
I must admit the milk and sugar way would taste great, but I could never wear the kilt again with shame.
