No.
Kinnock's father was a coal minor, Miliband's an academic.
Kinnock went to Cardiff Uni, Miliband to Oxford.
Kinnock didn't stab his brother in the back, Miliband did.
Kinnock might have been a comical figure, but he was a down to earth, honest guy. Miliband is a sociopath that will tread on anyone to get to the top.

Ed is the son of a Polish immigrant who fled the nazi's. Yes his father was an academic , but hardly a flag waver for the establishment being a marxist was he. Ed is well to the left of Kinnock, couldn't care less if he nerdish or couldn't change a lighbulb he would be good for Britain.
