Suarez was a loose cannon but could turn a match. Balotelli is an expensive embrassment. Not a good piece of business Mr Rodgers.....

I remember listening to 5live on the last day of the transfer window and Arsenal fans ringing in apoplectic that Liverpool were paying ?16m for Balotelli while they'd got Welbeck for the same price. They were ringing up asking why Wenger couldn't get Balotelli and how Welbeck wasn't good enough.

				Why Balotelli?
Panic on the part of Brendan Rodgers after Suarez left.
It was supremely arrogant for Rodgers to believe that a footballer who the likes of Mourinho, Mancini and Pirandelli had washed their hands of, would perform any differently for him.
I suspect Balotelli will be gone before the start of next season.
